Born & Raised
In The Lou.
I’m a St. Louis native who’s spent a lifetime trying to decode the Gateway City. My path? It wasn’t exactly a straight line. It was more of a chaotic trifecta through the newsroom, the field, and the spreadsheet.
I learned how to ask questions that make people uncomfortable (Journalism), how to stare at people until I understood them (Anthropology), and finally, how to torture the numbers until they confessed the truth (Data Analytics).
Thrown into that mix was an 8-year stint in Public Service helping people get jobs—which taught me that systems are abstract, but rent is very, very real.
